Hi all,

I should have done that a loooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg time ago.
So here we go, my previous site (I have another one currently in dev) dedicated to the wapcam projet:

It runs a pretty old version of cmsms (several years ) with a multilianguage feature. The site displays three languages but actually I didn't fill up the dutch content, hence so far there is only english and french available.

It's been a hard time developping it, especially the css part - cmsms was pretty easy and efficient to play with.

I do like the design. But really, a free domain? I would definitely change that!

It's true a free(.fr) domain definitly sucks, I'm done using it and my last site - I should present to you soon - is a fully independantly hosted one.

Otherwise, I dont think I'm gonna upgrade the cmsms version because I have very little time to spend on that project and that,I will most likely run into problems doing the upgrade than doing nothing

"free.fr" is a french ISP which didn't require a subscription fee to connect to the internet at the old age of 56k internet connections. Hence the name

I was under the impression that the domain name was free (as in you did not have to pay for the domain every year). I can wish, can I?

But do you pay for hosting?

no I don't  8)
but still there are several drawbacks that make me pay for my domain name and hosting:
- you have a free.fr domain name (I pay for wapcam.mobi but not for wapcam.mobi.free.fr)
- lots of restriction about what you can do with your hosted pages.
- no customer service as in 'it's free'

Since it is free, make sure to have an up to date backup per my signature's instructions. You are setting yourself for future trouble, and you might have to run to another hosting some time in the future. Make sure when you run to another host, you will at least have all of your data.
