Future of CMSms MLE?

After the decision not to include MLE anymore within the mainstream cmsms all the activity dropped significantly.
Since this time also Alby drooped beyond the horizon and did not even reply to some suggestions.
With MLE it was so easy to establish multilingual pages. Even friend taking care of languages like Chinese and Thai without any knowledge of webprogramming loved the easy way to translate the content.
Really I would love to have this project continued and as close as possible to the core cmsms.
