Menu items without links [SOLVED]

Is there a way to set a Menu item not to have a link associated with it? I.e. it is just a node in the menu hierarchy to group the pages underneath.
Just to give an example:
Lets say I have the following menu:
1. News
2. Sports
2.1 - Tennis
2.2 - Football
2.3 - Basketball
3. Contact Us
Now I dont want to have any content for Sports, and I don't want the Sports menu item to be a link, it just drops the list of sports when the mouse goes over it. News and Contact Us on the other hand are
I have tried setting the page to inactive but this takes the menu item completely out of the menu.
Is there any way to achieve this?
