Content ordering.

I apologise if this has already been brought up, but the only problem I have currently with CMSMS is the simplistic way the pages are displayed in the page manager.

When you have a large number of pages, am I correct in thinking that the only way to reorder them is to use the up/down arrows?

In order to re-organise things quickly, could a system similar to mambo's be introduced, whereby you choose a number for a page, and it is then repositioned according to that number?

I agree. I have a huge number of pages in my site, so the javascript takes ages and ages to move a page into a different order if I use the up/down arrows.... sometimes as long as 25 seconds before it loads up as "moved".... will this be changed in version CMSMS 2.0?

What ver. are you using, there has been a Reorder Pages link for a while, it takes you to a page where you can grab pages and move them in real time...

Just can't take them out from under parents...
