Karingal Equestrian re-build and re-launch

Post by psy »

Karingal Equestrian has been a CMSMS site for a number of years.  It was definitely time for an overhaul and here is the result.

http://karingalequestrian.com.au

Cms Version: 1.6.7

Installed Modules:

CMSMailer: 1.73.14
Backup: 0.5
FCKeditorX: 1.1.0
MenuManager: 1.6.2
ModuleManager: 1.3.2
nuSOAP: 1.0.1
News: 2.10.4
RSS: 1.1
Search: 1.6.1
TruetypeText: 2.1.1
Calendar: 0.8.2
Cataloger: 0.7.6
TinyMCE: 2.6.2
FileManager: 1.0.2
Printing: 1.0.4
CGExtensions: 1.17.6
SiteMapMadeSimple: 1.2.1
CGSimpleSmarty: 1.4.3
Gallery: 1.2.1
CGGoogleMaps: 1.4
FormBuilder: 0.6
ThemeManager: 1.1.1

New features:

Most notably, the Gallery module with jQuery galleryView script on the home page and Weddings, Functions & Events page.  Another feature is the FormBuilder feedback form on the 'Our Horses' item catalog pages - the form takes the horse's name off the page so that the message returned to Karingal is directly related to the horse in question. There is also a bit of Cufon font stuff and a few other tweaks.

Your comments and feedback are most welcome.

Regards
psy

Shame no-one commented yet. I think this is a nice looking site, great colour use.

Site is nice but you really need to increase the opacity on the menu drop down items. Some are almost unreadable when dropped down over the welcome text on the home page and the individual page banners.

There's also a lot of white space in page content which is unnecessary. Keep your design and page hierarchy to a grid. Items will flow better.
