Is there a way to make all pages in a certain node of the hierarchy not searchable en masse?

I have one node with about 1000 pages that are all searchable that shouldn't be. A SQL statement would be fine.

But frankly, I don't need such a dynamic solution. I just need a quick-and-dirty mass update script.
