[solved] {content block="foo"} admin only can edit?

Post by lightfoot »

I haven't found any topics on this yet. Is it possible to create additional content blocks that only the admin can see or edit when editing pages? Basically to make it easier for users in the editors group to just see and edit the main content block. I have 2 other content blocks that I've created. One is for the page heading (which is a graphic) and the other is for a page image that floats on the right. These should not be changed by the editors.

Put the other 2 in GCB and call them in the template and leave the {content} for editors...

But to answer your question, NO...

Thanks. I left the content blocks in there but changed them to oneline boxes and created global content blocks with all of the headings and images for each page and I'm just calling the global content boxes in the regular content boxes (because the headings and images change on each page). But when editing pages it's a lot cleaner.
