Urgent help required - can't use admin folder

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Urgent help required - can't use admin folder

Post by chrisinoz »

Hi

My isp has reserved /admin for their access to clients access to the Cobalt Server.

So i have renamed the admin folder to staff.

I can access the login screen okay at/staff but when i go to login it takes me to

http://www.thedomainname.com/admin/login.php?CMSSESSID=38aed3cbb71e62a83938871b76ac477b

I have actually been logged in okay becasue I can then go to

http://www.thedomainname.com/admin/index.php

and work as usual.

However this is unsuitable for the client.

What do i need to change so I can login properly at http://www.mydomainname.com/staff?

Thanks

Ignore above now.

It is working fine now as long as I go straight to admin/login.php as the starter page.

Cheers

I had that problem on a clients hosting, also cobalt, with their cms and their forum... on their server even a subdomain.domain.com/admin redirected to the cpanel for the cobalt raq.

Glad you were able to work around it.
