Blogs made simple - numentries parameter causes fail

Hello!

Does anyone have an idea what could be going on here? I installed Blogs made simple module. Works well otherwise, but when I try to put {Blogs numentries="1"} to the sidebar, the CMS doesn't read the CSS at all (or so it seems). Some other parameters works just fine, but when it comes to this, it's just a big fail.

Have you tried to activate debug mode inside config.php?

By the way - Blogs made simple is discontinued. The author suggests CGBlog ...

Thanks for tips, but didn't unfortunately do much good. Didn't see anything alarming while in debug mode. Although, not sure what kind of message exactly I should be looking from the debug.
