CMS Made Simple Forums

Some time ago I installed a version of CMS Made Simple on SourceForge.net as a website to support an open source priject I manage (The ASP-Tango Project).  The installation was nice and smooth and everything worked well.  It was not long after I had everything just right (prior to a backup) that a php worm or other hack wiped the site and all my hard work.

I have been developing in ASP for years now and I have a CMS that I have written in ASP which is pretty good (almost feature to feature compatible with CMS Made Simple).  But ASP Hosting is always more expensing and I would much rather prefer to use CMS Made Simple.  I am only hoping that the current version is more secure than the earlier version that I had installed 1.5 years ago - comments on this please?

BTW,  I find CMS Made Simple to be the easiest to use CMS around.

Well, as the project gets bigger and more people look at it, the more it should be getting tighter in security (at least in theory).  At this point, I'm not aware of any security flaws, though that doesn't mean they might not exist.

We went through a bunch of security related releases in the 0.10.x series because people we're really starting to hammer on the code and did find a lot of important potential problems.  They were all corrected as they were reported to me, and I feel pretty confident about the current code.
