Just install CMSMS and /admin page does not work

I have numerous sites running CMSMS and have installed it numerous time but never encounter this before. I installed everything uploaded some files on the admin side, then I logged out and realized I forgot to post something, tried to go to www.mydomain.com/admin and browser says file not found. Does anyone know why admin portal is not working? I just installed version 1.6.6 so it should be all updated with the newest files. Any help would be most appreciated.

i'm assuming the file it's trying to find is www.mydomain.com/admin/index.php, right?

does that file exist on your server?
