On page
http://www.bonaireaanzee.nl/beschikbaar ... ieven.html tariffs are in Euro's and $. Would it not be simpler to have that in one currency and make it clear what type of $ (US$, CAN$ AUS$, ...)
Photo 3 (of the waterland house) is of unmade beds. It sells better if they are nicy made I would say.
Would it not be better to have another site for English (Bonaire @ the beach) english speaking people remember that better and it is less of a problem on the guestbook. I do admit that you have to update two sites.
About the layout: clean and airy (just what I would expect of a sunny and brizzy beach).
Why don't you use module GoogleMaps on:
http://www.bonaireaanzee.nl/praktische- ... matie.html
On page
http://www.bonaireaanzee.nl/praktische- ... naire.html is something with the font of 'telefoneren'.
I hope you don't read this a negative respons. All in all it seems an informative and joyfull site to read.

Point taken
It is a nice website and I can't wait to go to Bonaire myself
Some things I noticed:
a. On the homepage, the blue collumn 'Foto impressies Bonaire' floats over the header. (FF 3.5.6 and IE8)
It this the intention or...
b. The link in the image on the homepage is hardcoded to a non-pretty-url
http://www.bonaireaanzee.nl/index.php?page=waterlands
c. Some page aliases needs attention f.i.
http://www.bonaireaanzee.nl/praktische- ... ina-3.html
But still a nice looking site!!
Grtz. Rolf

Now let's hope I can restore a backup.. First I will have to tell the client the bad news.. why don't these hackers go find a life.. argh.

Actually, I didn't really add safety measures for hacking attempts, as I had never thought that this would be a site that would be hacked.. honestly, why the bloody @$##! would you hack a site which offers holidays to Bonaire, in DUTCH..
Hosting company has been contacted, so we'll see what happens next. I got to back up all the files, but I sure hope the database isn't gone (that's the one thing I forgot.. backing up the database).

owwww that must hurt a lot, I realy hope the hosting company can help you, mostly the backup their systems very frequently....
Did you at least remove the installmap?
However it goes, protection is a good thing to focus on before setting the gates wide open...
Good luck with this website!
