Image Manager - asking to log in?

Using CMS 1.6.6
A client of mine is having problems accessing the image manager - they login as normal, go to Image Manager, and then rather than seeing the images, it has the CMSMS admin login box.
I've tried logging in with their username and password but it works for me, on both my PC and mac. I asked them to log in on a mac computer, which they did, but same issue.
I know they have a LAN set up at their offices with different permissions for computers, could this be something to do with it?
