How do I change only the page body text? I adjust in the style sheet typography but ut chages the size of my menu text as well. I am trying to get the body text to be Arial Small or 100% by default. Can i do this w/o changing the menu text?

Thanks

try changing div#content, instead of body.

in the css, check the Layout stylesheet.  That's where I think it is.

the default install comes with a style sheet called Typography that contains all the font sizes,
this is from the default CSS

/* A CSS Framework by Mike Stenhouse of Content with Style */

/* TYPOGRAPHY */
body {
text-align: left;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 75%;
                line-height: 1em;
}

depending on how your layout is set up you would target the font you want to change

body content main whatever the box is called that has the font you want to change {
text-align: left;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 75%;
                line-height: 1em;
}

generaly the font has 3 choices in case someone viewing your site doesn't have 1 of them installed they will get the next 1 inline untill it gets to 1 that is installed on their comp. or it will just default to the browsers choice.

the  "body"  tag is for your whole site, look thru your template and find the
what is the font in?
if it's in the
then it's
  main {
      text-align: left;
      font-family: Arial;
      font-size: 75%;
                line-height: 1em;
  }

only if the font is in the "main" what is the font in?
do you have a link to your site so it can be looked at.

from the source of your site i found this

        New Millenium Kids Project
        In 1996, Ohio received funding,,,,,,,
that means that the font size is being set ,, hmm probably when you are putting content in the page as in edit or make page, you would be setting the font there, but if you want to set font for all pages 'main' div it would be in the typo. CSS like i showed you earlier,,
main {
      text-align: left;
      font-family: Arial;
      font-size: 75%; or what ever size you want
                line-height: 1em;
  }
but for this to work you will have to take the setting out of the page/edit process,,(any inline styles, the blue hilite above, will over rule all CSS styles)  there is a button on the top left hand of the edit screen that says 'Source' clik it and you will get a window that shows all of the background formating of only that edit window,in case there are two or more 'content' boxes, you take out anything except the tags or
and then you can style it in the CSS. one of the advantages of CSS styling , you don't have to remember the style every time you or somebody else makes a page,,hhmmm was i using size 3 font or 4 was that Arial or Times Roman, and it's site wide,, like set and forget. important if other people make pages/content.
