Hi, I am new to this forum and CMSMS, thank in advance for all your help....

I currently finished one of my site in CMSMS...everything was perfect till I tried renaming the admin folder... It gave a weird error when I tried accessing it... So I renamed it back to "admin" and now I can't login... I tried "forget password" but it doesn't work...

Thanks....

Sunny

I did that already, still the page refreshes. But how come password is not getting recovered from "forget password". I don't receive any email after I put my username in "forget password"

Steps I took that goofed up everything.

Step1: Renamed the folder "admin" to "myadmin", without changing the location in config.php file,

Step2: I tried accessing the admin page. Got 4 lines php error.

Step3: Renamed the folder back to "admin"

But now I can't login, I can't even recover my password.

Password can be manually changed in the database. If you PM me hosting and FTP login I can take a look.

It's not about the password, but about the fuctionality of everything, that is inside the admin folder.

Try reuploading the base package, but without the /install dir. I think, your action has just messed with one file or another...
