My client currently use Web Advantage which is the old Business Westapc Internet payment Gateway withe their old website.

My client does not want to use Paypal at all and I am wondering if there is a module or a general way to steup the product, cart and orders module to process the purchase through the web advantage westpac internet merchant gateway.

I know that the new non-shared gateway by westpac advantage is called PayWay Net. Can Payway net or westpac web advatage be used with the order, product and cart e-commerce modules.

You would have to clone the PaypalGateway and modify so it is set to Westpac specs.

Usually the payment gateway will provide documentation for integration so you know what fields are need and what are the return fields given.

Without a Payment gateway module for Web Advantage that is compatible with the Orders module, the answer is no. You could have your client consider Authorize.net as there is a module that exists for that.

You have to download the PaypalGateway module and copy the files. Then modify the PHP files to accomodate to how Westpac handles their transactions. I am sure they have a developers/api guide for you to work with.
