Real Estate Entries Search Form

Hi,

I am currently building a real estate website for a client. On the website there is a property search form which users can select Property Type, Price Range, Number of Bedroom, etc. and the search results will display a list of matching properties.

I have tried playing with modules like Cataloger and Products. They both allows me to add and display entries. But how can I get the search form to work together with these modules? Is it even possible?

Appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction or a better solution. Thank you in advance.

(Desperately in need of help)

Products is searchable by the default CMSMS search module. However if you want to do filtering by selecting items neither module offers this from what I understand. Some people have limited options like this and some people are trying to build UDT's to do this.

There have been a lot of inquiries about this... but no one has been willing to put up for it or submit a viable solution.

I just setup a custom search for another client based on Product module custom dropdown fields. In my solution I had to modify the main module file and the default page display.

It is too customized of a solution to post (I will not post a solution that needs to be modified for each individual case) but if someone wants to hire me to customize it for them send me a PM.

Agreed.  A "Real Estate" module would come in handy for many I'd suspect
