I'm curious, I'd like a user to only be able to see the edit page area, and file manager, area. Is there a setting where I can set this?

I created a group, set the group permissions to only allow edit pages, but still the user can see a lot of stuff, such as extensions, templates etc..

make sure the user you only want to edit pages is ONLY assigned to this new group you created.

make sure the new group you created ONLY has permissions to modify a page or modify a file. if you want them to be able to add or delete pages, those are separate permissions.

i tested here on 0.12.final, and it works as expected. except that the new menu manager does not yet have it's own permissions entry, and the limited user i created can access that as well.
