MLE 1.6.3 Url-rewrite problem

Hi al,

I hope someone can help with this one!

I have a existing cmsms site which I need to convert to a multi-language site.
I have installed MLE 1.6.3. on a backup of the site and it works great.

But here is the part where I got lost:

The site is indexed by google very good but I noticed that when I use Url-rewrite in MLE in places the language code in the URL lik this;  www.exampledomain.com/cms/subpage/en_US/page1.php is it possible to use MLE and Url-rewrite without the en_US (xx_XX) part in it.

Its a large site and a lot of pages in the top 10  of google so I need to keep the existing URL's alive.

Thanks in advance!

Try using "Show from DEFAULT_LANG if current lang is not ready" and "Force initial calling to DEFAULT_LANG:" (at Site Admin » Global Settings » Global Settings). It should do the job.

The MLE software is an unsupported FORK of the CMSMS project.
Please don't post problems you're having with the MLE version in anywhere but the appropriate MLE forum.

No, because xx_XX part is necessary for retrieving the right language, do you want en or it or fr or de page?
