Editing in phpMyAdmin instead of admin UI?

I would like to know if anyone can see good reason why I should not edit content directly in phpMyAdmin instead of the mysite/admin browser UI. I can't imagine why not but thought I would type this up and see if I am wrong.
I am using phpMyAdmin to more quickly edit page data like; title, alias, menu text, etc. I just find it much faster and easier to see the big picture when I can scroll through all of my page aliases instead of opening one at a time.
Obviously there is a risk of wiping out a table with a mouse click BUT are there any not-so-obvious reasons why I should not do this?
