Hi

My first CMSMS site.

http://www.wessexweb.org.uk/

Primary is aged 3-11 years, hence the simple tree design (supplied by the school).

Installed modules:
CGCalendar
CGGoogleMaps
FormBuilder
RSS2HTML
Statistics
+ image_rotator (Virtual Tour page)

Incorporated within the site are many features such as a calendar system, a virtual tour of the school, a gallery of children's work and Ofsted report information. Other features which make it useful for parents especially include a list of recently updated pages, downloadable weekly newsletters....and even the local weather.

Messages about any emergency events such as school closures can be added to the site by key personnel and these messages are displayed at the top of all pages by some upcoming events code (the emergency closure messages are added as events in the calendar and given a special category).

Happy to receive comments - good or bad   ;)

It has gone down very well at the school.

P.S. Thanks development team for making CMSMS such a superb product   ;D

Hey,

Nice site!  It seems like a good design for a school -- clean with an appropriate dash of whimsy.

There was one little thing I did notice: I submit the word "children" to the search form and the "results page" included two hits that might appear, let's say, curious to the casual observer:  ;)
...
# Calguys Calendar - Class swap day (8%)
# Calguys Calendar - http://www.wessexweb.org.uk/index.php?m ... eturnid=78 (8%)
...
Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Fred

Thank you Rolf!

Thank you Fred, also.  Good spot with those search results.  The first is odd because the resulting page does not seem to contain the word children (excepting the menu item Our Children).  The second is even odder because the result page returns only part of the HTML (starting and ending with ).  I will see if I can find out the cause of that.

Thanks again both for taking the time to check out the site!

Paul
