Can CMSMS do this?

Hello again.

I have recently been asked by a client to design a new website for them.  I would like to use CMSMS, and am hoping that someone will be able to tell me if it can do the following:
  • Have a members area, whereby users can pay a monthly subscription fee (via Paypal) to have access to a members only area
  • Display adverts from similar websites/organisations
  • Have a simple e-commerce style system, where users (both members and non members) can purchase a small range of items
Can anyone tell me if this is possible with CMSMS?

Well, #1 and #2 are easy.  #3 isn't quite so easy.

The private area stuff can be provided via a combination of the frontendusers, self registration, and customcontent modules.

The adverts stuff can be done with the banners module

the ecommerce stuff hasn't been integrated though a few people are working on it.  If you've got some PHP skills, I'm certain they'd accept your help :)

Thanks very much.

It may actually be easier to have a seperate shop set up (I usually use Zen Cart) and link to the shop from CMSMS.

I'm sure there is also a way to display some content from the shop onto the CMSMS front page.

Please look here - there's a hack for including ZenCart to CMSms  ;).
