migration to TYPO3 possible?

Hello!

I'm about to establish a CMSMS based website for my Institute since it takes to much work to service the old static-HTML page. Everything works fine up to now, but today I heard that the whole faculty is about to shift to a TYPO3 based webpage in about half a year. Since we're here in public service this may very well take one-and-a-half year or longer. Acually, I don't want to wait that long. So now here is my question:

Is it possible to migrate the content of my CMSMS based webpage to TYPO3?

Of course I would prefer to just click a button, wait for the magic to happen and have everything in TYPO3. My question is more about whether I have to re-enter all the content or whether I can automate parts of that.

Thanks for any reply, and if this question is not placed correctly please move it (I really don't know where to ask such a question).

Not really. Think ahead of what you will be using in the future.
