Sitedown Settings and TinyMCE stripping html

Hi all,
Does anyone know a way to disable WYSIWYG editor permanantly form the 'Sitedown Settings' tab under Global Settings?
The reason I ask is that I use a full static html page as my sitedown page.
If I go to 'Sitedown Settings' and toggle the 'Turn WYSIWYG on/off' checkbox, TinyMCE has already stripped my head and body tags out of the html.
So if I add another customer IP address I have to turn off the editor in 'User Preferences' then go to 'Sitedown Settings', do my thing, then turn editor back on.
Which is not a big deal I admit, but I do forget and then have to rumage around for my backup html file.
Anyway, just putting it out there if anyone has any tricks for preserving html in TinyMCE.
