CMS Made Simple Forums

I've heard that RSS doesn't work well in the latest CMSMS version. Is this true? We're using 1.5.4 & want to update to the latest but need RSS to be working correctly.

RSS works fine... it's implementation has just been moved from being implemented individually in core modules into a seperate addon module that is re-usable for different things.

The CGFeedMaker module provides RSS functionality
it comes with default templates for making rss feeds from
  - News
  - Blogs
  - CGBlogs
  - ForumMS
  - Products

and a few other things.

Great! Thanks. I mis-understood what we were need though. We need RSS2HTML to work & apparently that's not compatible with 1.6 yet. At least that's what they tell me.
