CMSMS Palm Tree logo for new admin theme

I'm developing another admin theme and I got a bit carried away with the CMSMS Palm Tree logo.
I thought I'd run it up the flag pole in here and see what people thought.

Is it still CMSMSy enough or is it too complicated? What do you think?

All criticism welcome.

We need very strong ears to hear ourselves judged frankly, and because there are few who can endure frank criticism without being stung by it, those who venture to criticize us perform a remarkable act of friendship, for to undertake to wound or offend a man for his own good is to have a healthy love for him.

[EDIT] Does anyone have a vector file (.ai .eps .cdr .etc) of the original CMSMS logo?

Some of the feel is still there, but I personaly misses the orange that I personaly feel is some sort of our identity.

A psd-file for the palm you can find here:

Beautiful!!! Amazing what you did with the logo.

It doesn't fit in with the blue and orange of this site though, but for an admin-theme could be alright.
Maybe "CMS made simple" needs a rebranded name too, for it doesn't sound that proffesional?  :-X

Thanks for the pointer to the PSD file Reneh.
I've been to that page a few times, and, as usual, I didn't look thoroughly enough.

I'm not trying to get the existing logo replaced - it is very well established and the colours run throughout everything CMSMS.

I am building an admin theme based on the colours of that logo above which can be re-branded by those that want to do that. BUT there will be a permanent and very visible POWERED BY CMSMS logo in the header.
At the moment, to rebrand the CMSMS admin you basically swap out the CMSMS logo for your own. That only leaves the CMSMS reference in the footer. Personally I don't think that's enough. But people do want to add their own identity.
I've decided to create an admin theme with a prominant CMSMS logo that cannot be removed, but offers a place for a personal logo as well.

I'll do a show and tell when it's ready.
