CMS Made Simple Forums

Hello,

I need to learn and use CMS. Can someone tell me where to start?

My background is eZ Publish. I did a lot of site in eZ publish (ez.no).

Any help is appreciated.

If so this is the wrong place to ask for help using ez publish.

If you need help using a CMS in general this also might be the wrong place.

If you need help using CMSms just tell us where you need help.

Of course help with CMS Made Simple. I mentioned in my post that I know eZ Publish. As a matter of fact I had the official training by eZ System. Since, I know one CMS, then I don't think that I need help with CMS in general.

May be my abbreviation of CMS Made Simple as CMS is not correct. Sorry for that.

Anyhow, eZ publish is a huge CMS and I want to learn a simplified CMS. So I chose CMSms. I don't know anything about CMSms. I did install fine in my Ubuntu server but thats about it.

If there are nice tutorials (pdf, audio, video) and/or books, I would love to see them.

If you look at the top of your page you will see "Support" with sub items of Documentation and FAQ. Start there.

Sorry but those items are plainly visible and should be common sense.

Install on server or XAMPP. To do that, read installation instructions. Then you can start creating pages. The learning process will be organic. You can e-mail me if you get stuck or post here.

Suggested learning path : install guide, sample content, documentation, 'inside' help, visual howtos...
