I Installed CMS-MS 1.6 on my "localhost" ( Wampserver 2.0 on a WindowsXP +SP3 )
After some tweaking the php.ini file to get rid of disturbing warning messages , I got the install to succesfully complete.

But,  if most of the various admin Menus look OK , I think I have some problem with :
-The "layout/menu manager" screen
-The  "layout/theme manager"  screen

On those menus , the column-header's are missing , so i dont know what the various columns are ...!!!

Any Idear what the PB could be ???

See attached "CMSMS-scrrens.jpg" file , to get an idear of what I think being a problem .

In advance thanks for your help.

Hello, try to do a System Verification(Site Admin -> System Verification (download the correct hash from cmsms download), and check it in another browser too.

Hello ...
I did the system verification ,  using a fresh downloaded checksum.dat file
(I used the "Download checksum file" option of the System Verification menu ....)
Everything looked OK , and I got the "All checksums match those in the uploaded file" message ...

I also  (following your suggestion...) tried to use IE-8 instead of my current browser (Firefox 3.0.12)

But nothing changed concerning the missing Column headers .... :'(

Do you think I should try a n othe CMS-MS Version ...like 1.5.4 ???

Try XAMPP, never had any problems with it...

Finaly I followed "Dr-CSS" advice ....
I switched to XAMPP 1.7.1

And everything seems to look OK (so far so good)

So now i will  practice and learn how to use " CMS-Made-Simple"
