CMS Made Simple Forums

I'm installing CMS made simple on a dreamhost account for a project that I'm doing, but when I installed it, everything was fine until the last step where I got an error saying:

Importing initial data...Invalid query: INSERT INTO cms_user_groups ( GROUP_ID, USER_ID, CREA

Anyone have any advice on what to do?

Anyone else on dreamhost?

Is there anyone that can help me with this...?

Hi Maron,

did you by chance forget to grant all rights on your MySQL database to the cms_user? See step number three in Install.txt.

I just installed on Dreamhost as well.  It installed fine, but I have two problems:
1.  the link to your CMS gave me a 404 - the php.cg page
2.  i was able to get to the homepage of the site, but it looks all white with black text - no css or something.

any clues?

The requested URL /cgi-system/php.cg/stylesheet.php was not found on this server

No stylesheet.php No css.

So I should reinstall everything?  Maybe my FTP did'nt transfer all the files?

Did you check the template to make sure it has stylesheets attached?

I really have no idea how to check to make sure the stylesheet is attached.  All the links give me a 404.  If there isnt a senior support person out there who can tell me what is up, i'll just reinstall.

Ya no kidding I didn't even try any links,, I've had to reload before,,  you could do a file by file compare.

i'm have no idea how the hierarchy is in this hosting company, but are you allowed to put files on root?
i'm not much of an admin and all that stuff, so my question may sound simply stupid

what does the variable $config['root_path'] say in your config.php ?

Ok thanks.  Yeah, i'm gonna just reinstall from scratch.  i think something went wrong with my last jump to hyperdrive.  This hunk of junk isn't what it used to be.

Dreamhost sucks.

I tried on dreamhost and was the same problem so just requested for refund and moved to new host.
