When I change the text on the admin menu it adds an Add Me line. For example:
Content/Pages - If I change "Pages" to "Web Pages" it show this "--Add Me-- Web Pages". Why does it automatically add this line "Add Me"?

How can I delete the Add Me line?

Where are you changing this?...

Most times you need to make any of these type of changes in the lang. files...

README FIRST, System Info, System Checksum etc...
