image / info swapping

i am currently working on the site below and I am using cataloguer to produce the display of products
currently each item has 2 or more collour variations and i need to show the separate colours.
the way i have done it currently is to just setup an item page for each
ideally i would like to have just the 1 item page and then within that page have the other colour variations showing as thumbnails.
so i would have 1 main image and the info for that. Then when clicking one of the other thumbnails it swaps with the main image and the name of the item.
does anyone know if this is at all possible and if so how would i go about it?
