ImagePicker Sorting

Two questions about this very useful module:
1. On the main ImagePicker page, how can I change the sorting method. It currently sorts based on Page Number (1.1, 1.2, etc). How can this be sorted by Page Name?
2. The drop down menu for the images, when selecting an image, does not seem to sort properly. Any thoughts on getting that to sort alphabetically?
3. Is there a way to turn off automatic creation of thumbnails?
