I put this in the blog comments originally, which was probably a dumb place to put it, but:

Are there a lot of changes between the original ‘NCleanGrey’ and the new ‘NCleanBlue’ that goes with CMSMS v1.6?
Will older admin themes need to be upgraded to work with CMSMS v1.6?

IIRC, NCleanGrey is just an admin theme, while NCleanBlue is a front-end theme.

My mistake, I assumed from the dev changelog that the NCleanBlue was a replacement for NCleanGrey in 1.6.
