Hello, Thought I'd share and get feed back... here is a new site... it's not 100% done but unless your a client you can't/won't see the areas that are not done... to bad to as there is all kinds of cool things going on there.  The site has been worked to be an A (95) graded site on a -CND yslow..   all is validate minus

but that is a risk I'm willing to take  ;)

Also you'll note the almost fully parallel net and the
Empty Cache
HTTP Requests - 31
Total Weight - 167.0K

Primed Cache
HTTP Requests - 1
Total Weight - 3.7K

"All" that and it's animated all over from the header to the login link... anyways.. let me know what you think.

Not a big fan of the layout, but the elements you have included are very nice.

Although a HUGE tip: buffer your portfolio video's! It's really annoying to watch them frame by frame ;).

That's ok on the layout... not 100% my design  ;)  but Odd... so far every one I've had look at it in the states have not had that issue... but anyways I'm waiting to get flash media server loaded as they are buffer 5 secs now... and cached as well... but getting the stream off http will help greatly... please it's not on a CDN ...

Thanks for the words...

are the user profiles a modification of the news module or how did you make that?

i like the news testimonials on the right side! very cool!

the video effect is also very nice!

Nope that's FEU and CGUserdirectories ... that combo there is also driving Uploads for a FTP like area based on users and clients, and there's even an edit/view profile loop when you are logged in for that user... plus, thou there are none now, when one of the users make a blog entry you'll see a like pop up under the view profile lending to the blogs of only that user...

did you try the "contact me" link?  That was one of the fun ones as I have it come from the side were as the login comes from the top...

I'm basically just playing on the site now... adding little things here and there...

The testimonials are the news mod... and if you look you'll see that the set of 5 is random too.. thou that's not to hard... but makes it funner I guess lol...

Thanks for the kind words there... I'm hoping to show it to clients with in the week...

Cheers

I reckon it also has to do with the fact that I'm based in The Netherlands, and US sites always render slower. However, buffering it a bit more would be ace. :)

Jeremy - thanks for sharing!  One small suggestion - I would like to see the testimonials "pause" for a few more seconds.  Very frustrating to read 80% of the text and then have it replaced by the next testimonial.

I did notice that if I mouseover the testimonial, it pauses indefinitely until I move the mouse away.  Nice touch!

Also - I think the contact form would look better if the fields were aligned.

The link graphics on the right side of the page (above the testimonials) - are they supposed to be centered in that righthand column?  They kind of spill off to the right a bit on FF3.

Finally, IE6 does not render the site well at all.  Not sure if this is a concern to you or not.

Very nice site!

@christiaans yeah... the media sever upgrade will fix that...  :D

@jmcgin51 I hear yeah on the speed of the testimonials, but that was how fast I was told to make it... which is why I add the pause on hover... thanks for reminding me about the contact forms... I forgot that I didn't style them yet... opps... I'll have to take a look at IE6 again... I may have over written the css driving the site for IE6  thanks for letting me know...

Thanks for the comments... I'm still working on the deep parts, but I will take a new look at the front again.. as it seems I may have been over writing a few parts ... I still have some time on the site so back to work... I'm aiming for a 100% type deal...

Cheers
