Can CMS do split menu's - I'm considering CMS for a new build

Hi,

I've been through several pages of the show off your site section in this forum and I can't find an example of anyone having a split menu with CMS. My client wants a main top nav with a left nave that changes with each top nav parent item.

Like the golf section on this website - http://www.longeveau.com/golf.php

Not my website but my client has flagged it as a site she loves.

Does anyone know if CMS can handle this with a reasonable amount of ease please?
Can anyone point me in the direction of an example please?

I've been using Joomla/Magento/Wordpress/Drupal up until now but all these would be overkill for my next site. I'd love to try out CMS, it looks fab.

Thank you in advance for your help :)

Jo

What spike said. Also, if you want to do something by hand, a few searches will show plenty of pages like http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,30882.msg146203.html, http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,8441.0.html, http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,4320.0.html, http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,34078.0.html. All of that just by searching for "split menu", but I recommend searching with other terms like "two menus" and the like.
