NeoGallery parameters gone wild!

So - I've installed NeoGallery and it seems to work for the most part however, the documentation indicates that you show the gallery by placing the parameters in the CMSMS content area. It provides the example of parameter of {NeoGallery}. This is great and displays the designated default gallery. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to display other galleries that I've created.
It further goes on to list a number of additional parameters to add in order to show the additional galleries however, none of the varations that I try seem to work.
The say that to specify what callery shoud be shown one should add the parameter gallery="mygallery"
OK - So my gallery is called "allstar" and I enter {gallery="allstar"} or {NeoGallery gallery="allstar"} or {cms_module module='NeoGallery' gallery='allstar'} but nothing seems to work...i thought it might have been the quotations but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know how this parameter should look so it will show the named gallery?
