Anchor links not working
Posted: Sat May 16, 2009 11:34 am
Hi
I have read alot of topics regarding Anchor in the forum but was not able to find an answer, so appologies if this already has been answered. In that case, can anyone provide a link please
I have a page: http://www.dmm-support.dk/index.php?pag ... dmin-tools
Hosted on IIS5+Win2000 Server
At the top I would like to create a link to each headline.
I have created 4 anchor.
The first headline called "What is Win2003 Support Tools" has an Anchor called "supporttools"
When i try to link it using the link icon i choose Anchor "supporttools"
The problem is that this makes the link look like this: http://www.dmm-support.dk/#supporttools
and not :http://www.dmm-support.dk/index.php?pag ... pporttools as i expected
I then tried to link it directly using the complete path to the anchor:
http://www.dmm-support.dk/index.php?pag ... pporttools as i expected
but in the browser the link still brings me to the front page of my web
Does anyone know whats wrong?
Is the Anchor function working correct?
I know there are 2 link buttons
1. the internall CMS-page link that i did not use as i can not find out how to add anchor
2. The external link. I use this. I can not browse but i copy the link directly into the link field
Can anyone guide me in the right direction
Thanks
Regards
Morten
