Comments module breaking email link...

Hi All,
CMSMS 1.5.4
Comments 1.8.2
Calendar 0.8.1
Since upgrading CMSMS to 1.5.4 the comments module now breaks the email link in the notification message i.e.
The same for this link:
So the whole link is not 'hot' if you know what I mean. If I copy & paste the whole link into the browser it works fine.
Any ideas where this is going wrong?
