editcss.php not found

Hello all!

When I edit a stylesheet (in the layout section) and want to save it, I receive an error "404 not found" (the url shows .../admin/editcss.php ). I can store (Zwischenspeichern) the change instead and it works, but nevertheless, I dont understand why this error happens.  ???

– A day before, it was working, and I didnt change anything on the installation, just content stuff.

– The file "editcss.php" is there in "/admin" and has the same 644 permissions like all the other files there. Its not working with 744 either. And I did replace "editcss.php" with a new one – no success.

Any ideas?

Thomas

I have still the same problem: error when trying to save stylesheets.
Everything else seems to be working fine.

No one here ever had this problem?

If the file is in the right place and you haven't changed anything but the content and it suddenly happened like over night, you need to contact your host, most likely they changed something w/o telling you...

Thanks. Its a long time ago and it still happens. But I will soon make another CMSMS installation, I will see then how it behaves.

BTW you should report with System Info and System Checksum.
