[SOLVED] Theme manager - import button doing nothing

I'm an absolute newb, just installed CMS on a local system yesterday.
Everything seems operational except when I go to Layout -> Theme Manager the import and export buttons do nothing. Logged in as Administrator and it looks like I got the rights to manage themes.
Any help available?

They don't do anything if nothing is in the input box, did you read the how to in the theme site?...

Yes..... I've read that.
I'm expecting to see something like the 'Install from XML file' that you see on the bottom of the modules page but the whole page is blank below the Export and Import tabs - which don't seem to do anything.
I'll probably try a fresh install and see if that improves matters. There is no serious content added yet as I'm trying to decide whether to use CMSms.

OK
Did clean install of version 1.5.4 and problem gone. Now looks like I'd expect it to.

Yes unfortunately sometimes during the FTP upload some files don't make it or get corrupted and a reupload will fix it or a reupload/reinstall may work...
