[SOLVED] FEU fails after upgrade 1.5.1 to 1.5.3
Posted: Mon Mar 30, 2009 4:31 pm
I installed on a subdomain www2.example.com every thing worked in 1.5.1. After upgrade to 1.5.3 FrontEndUser login sends me to www.example.com. I am not using modrewrite or internal pretty urls. Also I am actually sent to http://www.example.com and not http://example.com. Am I missing a setting? All pages work properly. I search the database for "www.example.com" and could not find it. The config file has the correct information. I tried sending a bad page request ot www2.example.com/index.php?page=badpage and I am sent to the custom 404 page so FEU is not sent to a bad page. I have cleared the cache.
I don't know what else to look for.
update: I noticed all forms on the sub domain have action="http://www.example.com/index.php" while other domains I manage have action="index.php" Is this a result of the upgrade?
FINAL UPDATE It seems the 1.5.2 and above have a serious problem with "function __curPageURL()" I found other threads with hacks for modform.inc.php. Nothing worked for me so I replaced 1.5.3 version with 1.5.1 version of the file and everything works. I don't know if this causes problems in other modules but worked for me. Maybe someone could help explain why 1.5.3 does not work for me.
