We have a CMS Made Simple built website, whose webmaster recently left.
We are trying to add GA code in the footer and not able to find where and how it can be added. Its not in global, and not in footer either. There already is an existing code which needs to be replaced but not sure where its coming from as we are little new to CMS Made Simple.

We also need to remove link to webmaster and add a link to one inner section which should only show in footer and nowhere else (basically not in header navigation)

Do let me know your expertise on the same and your portfolio if possible. We need to be sure we giving the work to right person.
This work will follow maintenance work thereafter (will require separate quote once the above points are resolved)

The logic that is showing in the footer, is probably..... either set in the template directly, or in the GCB called footer.

Once you check the template, and look for the footer container, you will see what is called there. If only the GCB footer is showing, then you can modify that GCB, or create a new GCB and call it as well in the footer-area in the template.

Hi, no matter if I put an analytics code in the GCB or actual template file, Smarty tries to compile it and fails miserably. Anyway to make it work happily? (Anaylytics is a javascript snippet)

*Cough* I myself am not offering any money, btw; this is just the most relevant topic I could find from google and the original author happened to post in the commercial section :)

put the code in your footer GCB  between {literal} HERE {/literal} tags.  that should allow smarty to ignore it.

Is this still required? If so, let me know, cos I'll be happy to give you a quote.
