Hi all,

I don't know much about CMS Made simple but I thought Joomla was slightly advanced for me.

I need to build a website that will need to support the following functions.

1. Ability to stream video of YouTube
2. Ability to stream pictures of flickr
3. Full support for the Greek language
4. Need to support Google Maps.

Do you know if I can do all above using CMSMS?

Many thanks for your time
Sp

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your speedy reply. Could you please direct me to a link listing supported languages? I can't find Greek anywhere.

Sorry to be a pain, I need to be careful about this.

Thanks
Sp

I don't think Mark realised what you were asking...

I don't believe there is full support for Greek language in CMSMS.

There is in admin and in core modules but I don't know if are uptodate
I remember a few users also
Pay attention bacause you must use full UTF-8 (DB+header page) for displaying

I work with a client that has sites in greek, frontend and backend and he has no problems with it...

I suppose it depends on what your definition of "full" support is. As far as I can see, few modules, outside of the core, have any Greek translations.

Mark,

Do you mind sending me the link of this website? I want to understand myself what I mean by "full support"  :)

I'm not planning to use modules such as shopping carts. The portal will display tourist information about my homeland and I need to make sure I can use both English and Greek for this. The site will mostly display videos, images and my own text.

Again, many thanks for your time!
