CMS Made Simple Forums

So I requested a port be opened from my server/hosting (aplus.net) which is my last unsolved x on installation!  However, I provided them with the server name (dev.cmsmadesimple.org 80) but they replied stating that the ports are based on IP addresses, and they must have an IP address to open the port for me. 

I've searched and searched and not found one in any documentation or here in the knowledge base.  Anyone encounter a similar problem and find a solution?   Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!  Sent it over and a port should open in 24 hours to let me finish up, and facilitate the modules!

However is not important if you follow Announcements.
Check for external url is not "requirement", you can install without: continue on step 2
