Number of css allowed?

I am new to CMS Made Simple and have employed a developer to get me off the ground.
He is telling me that CMS Made Simple can only have one css. Is this correct?

Well, i am pretty sure you will get a lot of comments on this
As default CMS Made Simple have several CSS scrips enabled, and you may of course add your own css scripts if you want to do that...

You probably have your answer by now, but no it certainly isn't correct.
My templates all have at least 5 css files attached to them to separate out the styling for different purposes like layout, formatting, menus, breadcrumb etc.
It is true that your template will only call the css once, but that one call associates ALL stylesheets linked with the template.
