CMS Made Simple Forums

I hopefully have a simple issue. When I create a new page, then type some text, highlight it, add HTML. When I save it looks correctly. but when I view the code the created code is mysite

When I submit and view the page in the browser the same code shows up where a link should be.

We're using version 1.5.3 "Arecibo"

Any idea's?
