Global Content Blocks need and update

I have read and used features that i found in the forum that don't have any documentation or reference even in the global content tag help.
I would have updated it, but there is no way to register to modify the wiki.

I've done that and it says: "Login error: You have not specified a valid user name." I've tried numerous times now???
