CMS Made Simple Forums

Hi all,
I have upgraded our site from an earlier version of CMS multiple times without any problems till now. 

I recently upgraded to 1.5.2 from 1.4.1; I did a full overwrite of the install.  If you view our home page you can see the error in the news module area.  (Left side, middle of page.)  I am using a lightly tweaked hauki theme.

(Firefox makes the error more legible than IE.)


The error is: Warning: Parameter makerssbutton is not known... dropped in /home/smilingc/public_html/crptruck.com/lib/misc.functions.php on line 1347

I am sorry, but I don't know what to do with this, some pointers please!?!

The RSS isnt part of News anymore, CGFeedmaker is what you can use. With CGFeedmaker, RSS is possible in other modules as well.. The need for a specific News-RSS was gone with that.

In your {News} call, you have to take the makerssbutton out.

Thanks.  It's a simple as removing the offending makerssbutton=true portion of the NEWS line in my theme template.  I just didn't know enough of the tech to try it.  Thanks again. 


My only real 'problem' with CMSMS is that it works so good, I don't spend enough time with it!  Other products that I use unfortunately require some programming-level awareness, even just for theme manipulation, not to mention problem solving.  (I am looking at you cubecart, magento, and the rest of you commerce carts! Blech1)  CMSMS really does what it says, easily.  Thanks to all involved!
