Popularity of Plugins/Modules

I would like to be able to see the popularity of modules, as this would give me a heads up as to what every one else is using/liking. I guess some people might not like this as a new module coming out but it would really help me in sorting through them all. I'm sure a database could store the download numbers.

Yep, I agree totally, it would make accessibility to new modules greater.

I seems that the db does... thou in the files tab, it does do that, and I think, and only think, that the "Top Project Downloads" are based on the numbers since it has those big numbers by it
. IMHO I think what you mean is a rated system, where we the users vote on the sureness/wellness of the mod at hand... anyways, that’s My2Cents
