Hi all, I just installed frontend user + customcontent module.
I'm able to create users, login fine. however when I click on change settings and
change password + click submit = tries to load a few seconds then nothing happends. It just stays on same page.
I've checked my properties before creating groups + users and its set to email.

Please help. Please? :'(

If there's already a topic created for this issue on this forum, please point me to that thread so i can follow what was being discussed/suggested.

Using a hot off the presses svn version of CMS made simple (I actually did a fresh install today, go figure).  and the same for frontend users, I checked out completely from svn I could not manage to reproduce your change settings issue.

I do have a theory though, if you check your http server log, php may be running out of memory.  I had to increase my php memory limit too.

Thanks Calguy. Unfortunately I dont have a full control over the unix server and do this changes, you suggested. But I'll try to speak to godadday and see if they can  help me out. I just hope there's a way to do this without involving them. :(

Hi, Just to update on this problem incase this may also  help other future beginners out there.
My issue was fixed by unchecking  the part that says  "Use SMTP to validate email addresses"  - under Preferences on FrontEndUser Management.

I am not sure if this is just in particular to my host provider or this may affect other apps. Im just happy ryt now.  :-*
